I attended The Academy at Penguin Hall in Wenham, MA for my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I then transferred to Hebron Academy in Hebron, ME for my junior and senior years. I then attended the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI for my first three semester of my undergraduate degree. I am now attending Boston University in Boston, MA, from which I will graduate with a Bachelors in Advertising come May of 2025.

Experience

Ava Mantenuto

• AdLab- During my time in AdLab at Boston University I worked as a copywriter for the brand Primi (an Italian-style, pasta-on-the-go company). Though this is a course, it provided me with real world experience where I learned the ins and outs of working for a real client, how to manage meeting deadlines, collaboration with other creatives and strategists, and worked to deepen my skills as a writer.

• Gibson and Sotheby’s (Internship)- As of this semester (Spring 2025) I have been interning with Annie Kelly, a real estate agent, to help her and her team create promotional social media posts. Throughout my time here, I’ve developed the ability to thoughtfully balance strategic content insight with my employer’s creative objectives. It also has tough me that though at times this work can be stressful, it is more often than not a good ol’ time.
